Precious in the sight of Jesus is the death of His saints. Charlie’s death was ordained by God. It was his time to go to heaven. He was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. He is enjoying the delights and joys of heaven along with many others. I am looking forward to joining him as soon as it is the will of God for me to do so.
I watched a youtube video of Charlie speaking and I am not surprised that someone killed him. People have done this many times when they cannot shut up a loud insistent voice. Charlie angered a lot of the people he debated with. Some of these people resort to violence when they are refuted.
It is sad that there is no tolerance for different points of view. If we don’t like what someone is saying, we try to force them to stop saying it, and ultimately we kill the voice. We proclaim free speech, but in practice, we really mean the freedom to say what we agree with. Dissenting voices are to be silent.
It was Charlie’s time to go to heaven. Jesus saved him from his sins. In Jesus Charlie suffered and died for his sins and rose from death on the third day. In Jesus Charlie sat in heaven at the right hand of God the Father. This is true of every person who has asked Jesus to save them from their sins. Jesus adopts us as one of His children and lives in us and guides us and helps us. Yes Jesus could have stopped the assassin’s bullet. The very breath the assassin breathes comes from the hand of Jesus. It was Charlie’s time to go to heaven. He is much happier now than he was here on earth. Heaven is much more wonderful than this planet.
